EMMANUEL - GOD IS WITH US

Jesus is truly present with us in so many ways in the Eucharist.

In Communion - Jesus wills to be received into our souls and unite Himself with us, so that we may "in Him, live and move and have our being." God present inside our souls uniting Himself to us in every way.

In Adoration - Jesus wills to be "vulnerably" and majestically present so that all may approach and see Him with eyes of faith. God present as King, Lord, Savior, set upon a throne surrounded by candles honoring Him.

In the tabernacle - Jesus wills to be present, hidden from our view. One of the visionaries of Medjuriore once indicated that while she was present in a home, she could turn and look and see pilgrims praying in a field a quarter of a mile away. She could "look" through walls so to speak. In the tabernacle, no walls serve as barriers of His love. He is steadfastly present for all who approach with His radiant light and love. God present in our world, and in our community, in all the churches all over the world.

In procession - Jesus wills to walk with us on our journey and accompany us as we celebrate together. God present as we walk through life.

In the celebration of the Holy Mass - Jesus wills us to be united with Him as He suffered and died. We unite our sacrifices with His. God present with us through the crosses we carry and in our journey to Calvary.
